CZ.NIC, z. s. p. o., is an interest association of legal entities, founded in 1998 by fifteen legal entities – leading providers of Internet services.
CZ.NIC is a member of international organizations that bring together similar associations in the world (CENTR, ccNSO and others) and also a member of the association EURid that is managing the Europe domain .EU.
The association is registered in the Federal Register of the Municipal Court in Prague, file L 58624. The association has been assigned the ID 67985726 and tax ID CZ67985726. You can learn more on our website .
The main activities of the association is the operation of domain names .CZ, security service top-level domains CZ and raising awareness of domain names. The association is now intensively working on expanding DNSSEC technology and services of mojeID, expansion and improvement of domain administration system. It supports new technologies and projects beneficial to the Internet infrastructure in the Czech Republic.
